Work on software a hospital cannot do without
SanoBrix runs outpatient clinics, wards, theatres, laboratories, pharmacies and the finance office behind them. If you want work where the consequences are obvious, this is that.
Why this work
Four honest reasons, and one caveat
Everything here is a statement about the product and the domain, which you can check against the rest of this site. Anything about pay, benefits or how the days feel is left for you to write, because only you can.
The users are not hypothetical
A slow screen is a queue in an outpatient clinic. A missed permission is a bill nobody can explain. Very little software gives you feedback that direct.
It is built to last a decade
Hospital systems are replaced roughly never. That changes how you write things: the interesting problem is not shipping a feature, it is shipping one that can still be maintained in year eight.
The hard part is the joins
Anyone can build a billing screen. Making the charge raised in theatre, the dose given on a ward and the claim sent to a payer be the same fact is the actual work.
Nobody here overstates the product
Look at the rest of this site: it says what is newer, and what is absent. That is the same standard applied internally.
Open roles
What we are hiring for
Nothing open at the moment
We are not hiring right now. If you have run a hospital department, or you build software that has to be right, write to us anyway — we keep good applications and come back to them.
Applying
What to send, and what we read for
There is no form and no tracking system to feed. Write to us like a person and tell us what you would want to work on.
- Something you built or ran, described properly. One thing you understand deeply tells us more than a list of everything you have touched.
- What went wrong in it. Anyone can describe a success. Being able to say what broke, and what you changed because of it, is the thing we are actually looking for.
- If you have worked in a hospital, say so plainly. A ward sister, a pharmacist or a billing supervisor who wants to build software understands something we cannot teach.
- Skip the covering letter that says nothing. Three honest paragraphs beat two polished pages.
No role listed that fits?
Tell us what you would want to work on. A good application with nothing open is worth more to us than a rushed one against a posting.
